Imlil village

Imlil is a small Berber village nestled high in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, about 60 kilometers from Marrakech. It’s renowned as the primary trekking hub for climbers aiming to summit Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The village itself is a tranquil, traditional community surrounded by lush terraced fields of walnut, apple, and cherry trees. Serving as the starting point for numerous hikes, Imlil offers visitors an authentic glimpse into the Berber way of life, with its simple stone houses and mule trails winding through the stunning mountain scenery.
